Street cats live in their own world. Most people are unaware of their habitat. The felines in and around Makati, especially in Ayala Park, are treated well. It is fascinating how strong they are and what an individual character they have. Being on one of my photo walks, I started to produce some portraits of their environment.

Thanks to the climate, Manila's street cats can lead a mainly carefree existence and are mostly appreciated by the locals. At Ayala Park and the surrounding Barangays, their lives are defined by territorial fights and search for food. Some look for human proximity others are somewhat distrustful and shy.
